@XcelEnergyCO repeated winter PSPS events constitute an unreasonable transfer of risk from utilities to customers. Particularly, the shut offs in the urban areas of Golden strain credulity to see as unavoidable. I understand — to reduce wildfire risk, but what about hypothermia?

They’ve got some pretty neat artifacts, the only surviving Lunar Module (or at least, one of the only - not sure - I worked there 20 years ago)

@TheLIRRToday @2AvSagas Digging a lower level at queens plaza is a real challenge from an engineering level. Forest hills doesn’t have the termination capacity. Jamaica 179 is feasible but overkill and messes up storage.

Best bet is new terminal off the stub tracks after 63drive. Lower cost, more gain.

126th isn’t moving. Our bus went down to 116 and then back up eventually. 45+ minute delay.

Actually in retrospect - looks like in reality the transfers at Jamaica to the Atlantic train have been a bit of a clusterfuck, so - grievances of pax headed to BK are more than mere crumudgeonry

Everyone is all pitchforks and torches over new LIRR schedules -- but, upon actually looking into specific circumstances - it's like 99% "local crumudgeon doesn't like change, wants to bring down the government over 5-10 minutes added to commute"
