@sewateruk Am in East Grinstead and without water since Friday night. Recieved the attached letter (selling insurance cover) from SE Water today, telling me that 'as the home owner I am responsible for looking after repairs tp my water supply'. Talk about tone deaf !!!
Here we are again @OctopusEnergy - 11 days after installation of my EV charger and I have yet to get a charge. It seems that in this organisation if you 'elevate' a problem it really means you are passing it on and forgetting all about it. Not the company I though they were poor
@OctopusEnergy No they are not. Not if you buy the charger through Octopus. Zero aftercare support and a customer care team stuffed full of newbies that know nothing. A week and I've still not been able to charfe mz new EV. thought Octopus were an A1 outfit - not any longer.
@OctopusEnergy And there you have it. An ongoing issue that been elevated after 4 days of nothing. And here we are again at the end of a Friday - with, guess what, NOTHING. Bravo Octopus!!!
@OctopusEnergy I thought OE was renowned for their customer service??? Having an EV charger issue (4 days and at least a dozen calls). Why can't we speak to the EV team directly?? Instead we have to go through c. service (2 were new and knew nothing). Lost in space . VV poor
@theipaper@BenKentish You talk about unfairness against first-time buyers. How about, rather than removing stamp duty for downsizing you align it with the special stamp duty rates first-time buyers enjoy. Now, that would be fair and an actual incentive.
@Tom_K1962 Totally agree. And the headline is furiously misleading - she actually said "There was constant pressure to prove how British I was, how Bangladeshi, how Muslim. And then I realised that by trying to please all these different groups, I was just displeasing myself"
@BenedictDempsey Shame about the result Ben. Looking at the numbers I fear the opposition vote was split due to conflicting polls - Lib Dem vs Labour. And no Reform to drag down the Tory vote
