@AnnaKatherineP5 Teachers can create an inclusive culture in their classroom and teach their students about love and respect. Teachers can push these ideas by telling their students about these things/class expectations.

@bethbuckelew_ As a teacher you can incorporate art by letting them design their own “cover page” or page if their work to be exactly how they see what you are learning. This gives them the space to express their own thoughts and opinions while still leaving.

@EmmaTal01778780 I think it is very important to connect with students outside of just academics. This shows the student that this person in authority is truly there for them. To me, whenever you feel comfortable with who you’re around you’re going to do better.

@CassidytotheRay Zero tolerance policies do not work in my opinion. I believe every person (especially a child) deserves a second chance. I think schools should have more counselors to help get to the root of why a disciplinary incident occurred rather than only punishment.

@EmmaRuthBoles1 While every student is different & requires different things, a teacher should never lower expectations based on factors outside of their individual ability. A teacher should always have high expectations for every student.
