The @UCTTBHNFT had the pleasure of spending some time with Terry from Barnsley Parkinson’s Society. It’s been great to make vital links for our patients and those affected by Parkinson’s #parkinsonsuk#changeattitudes#findacure#joinus

The end of week 1 of the 'Tour de Barnsley'. Our patients have cycled 291m! Some fabulous moments seeing the smiles on their faces, the competitiveness & one patient with Alzheimer's reminiscing about her cycling days, she even talked us through her old route street by street!
Yesterday one of our lovely patients took part in our Tour de Barnsley and improved on her previous distance by an extra 10 metres! Someone get her a yellow jersey! 🌟 #tourdebarnsley#reconditionthenation

@UCTTBHNFT Despite the knee pain preventing her from using her legs to pedal, this patient was determined to be involved in the action so we let her use her arms! Preventing upper limb deconditioning is just as important! #inclusivity#reconditionthenation
