The agony and despair we go through when our kids start struggling at school, to access support, healthcare, youth work, reliable, appropriate, available, understanding, equipped, resourced provision and care is real.

Recently, out of the blue I got a call from @DKMS_uk - the charity that helps people with blood cancer. I'd forgotten that 5yrs ago I did a cheek swab... but the call was to say I was a possible match for someone in urgent need of stem cell or bone marrow transplant.

It's a chance to help someone survive who wouldn't otherwise. Unfortunately, having just been through the next stage, I've been ruled out of donating.
