One of my students drew me a lovely picture yesterday, after asking me what I was into. He incorporated mushrooms into the characters hair. What a lovely piece of art! #semh #educators

Through this stint of therapy and conversations with a friend, I've learnt that I am not good at showing myself the compassion I show other people. I'm working on this and I got myself a little reminder of this yesterday.

There are many who will not speak out against the racism we are seeing escalate-
It is because they are worried about taking a stance-
BUT this isn’t politics,it is about being human-
Have the courage to speak out or how will it change?
Educators especially we owe it to our kids

@moribunddr Wishing to have a growth mindset and recognising your fixed mindset is surely the first steps in altering and changing your mindset.

I'm currently working on throught restructuring with my therapist.

It's hard but if you want it, you can take steps to change it?
