An officer from #SpearCorps, posted at Rangapahar, #Nagaland saved the lives of two children, who were drowning on the Dhansiri River.
The children aged approximately 5-6 years had been swept away 30-35 metres inside the river. The officer heard the cries of their mother who was on the shore and immediately jumped into the river and saved the two drowning children.
The locals thanked the officer for the valiant action, with utter disregard to personnel safety.
