@2ynthx@smoke_nd_pearlz Kinda me. 100% a brunette, but still feel surprised when I see my brown hair in a picture or in the mirror.
It's been 11 years lol, when is my brain gonna adjust!?
@BecomingCritter I find it irritating because now I get a chore.
Why don't they text me the next day to check in?
But I find it very difficult to remember because driving exhausted me. So I assumed it was a social norm that most people actually like?
i feel like such a fake reader because even though i read a lot, i immediately forget almost everything i read π itβs not like i skim through books either, i actually take my time to read and understand them, but my brain just throws everything away after a few days
I actually want to get back into self-help reading, but I don't like the repackaged, regurgitated nonsense. I like books like 168 Hours and Getting Things Done.
When I was 14, people guessed I was 20+. When I started nearing 30, they started guessing 18.
I no longer believe the guesses, I've always looked exactly like my age.
I know believe they guess what they think you wanna hear.
"The War of Art" is just slop pretending to be deep.
"Think and Grow Rich" is NONSENSE. I no longer speak to anyone who recommended it. That book literally claims you become rich by daydreaming about being rich?? π€ͺ
