@LukeJD98 @mplsbikewrath This one post or a different one? The one that's missing has been heavily modified--it's got disc brakes and fenders, and I think other changes too.

Mpls friends! Be on the lookout for these bikes. They were stolen last night. My friend relies on them for year-round bike commuting and between election results and this, I've never heard them sounding so disheartened.
Please lmk if you see them and I'll pass it along!
Ok, diving into the survey right now, how's that for a fun Friday afternoon!

I haven't done the Transit on Nicollet Mall survey yet, but it's another way to weigh in. I will write a thread when I dive in, in case my answers can help you reflect on what's important to you/our community about this critical transit spine.

Ok, that took a while. I've finished the survey and can tell you that if that last text box has a word/character limit, it's somewhere north of 1663/9345.
Just me out here doing the research you're waiting for before you dive into the survey yourself!

We're into whether we want transit to stay on Nicollet Mall! We've got both a single-choice list of possible preferences and a text box to answer "Is there anything else youโd like to share about your experience using Nicollet Mall or the possible transit options?"
As upset as I am about the proposal to shunt transit riders from Nicollet to Marq/2nd/3rd, I'm energized by today's meeting, and the passion I saw from so many people who are committed to transit. Thanks to all of you who show up and who speak up for transit/community!
This is TODAY, Mpls friends!
4-6 at the downtown library, just up the escalator.
Let decision-makers know how comfortable you'd feel waiting for the bus outside peak weekday times on Marquette/2nd/3rd, or with your kid, elder waiting there for a transfer.
Mpls friends! Clear your calendars for TOMORROW, Tuesday Sept 24, from 4-6PM for a critical engagement meeting at the downtown library (second floor, up the escalator). Mpls/MetroTransit are making plans to remove transit from Nicollet Ave, and they're deciding v soon.
While today is the only public engagement meeting, you can also do the survey for a while longer.
Do your own comparison walks of each street and consider how it would impact your transit use based on comfort, transfers, etc.

@ewrigleyfield I feel like we need more transit dependent planners, not just those who drive or who are choice-transit-riders who also bike/drive/taxi. Especially need people who've navigated the city at odd hours (eg shift work) or with disabilities or as caregivers.
