I'm glad she's doing this, but I think she could stop talking right before the "But". It means a lot for a losing candidate to support the general election candidate without reservation.
I really appreciate that @AngieCraigMN seems to be consistently doing what Stevens isn't.
Haley Stevens on voting for Abdul El-Sayed:
"I still very much want our Democratic nominee, his name is Abdul, to win this race. There is so much on the line. But I will be honest, there are a lot of voters in Michigan, I was out knocking doors earlier today, and they are still undecided and they are hurt and they are confused..."
@lydiakauppi Really? Wow. I was mentally preparing myself for being pretty frustrated. I've been using a plow service for years, so this is the first time tackling it myself since like... 2016?
New low for the Demuth camp. They put out an op-ed by Rep. Dawn Gillman in a futile attempt to discredit Nicole Smith-Holt about INSULIN affordability. Who do you trust more- Nicole Smith-Holt, or a state rep who wasn't even in the legislature when Alec's Law was passed?
Peggy Flanagan has helped reshape Minnesota’s relationship with tribal nations. Now she hopes to bring that approach to Washington. https://t.co/fdQ7mrKQHz
EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity. Doesn't seem to mind as much when it's the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it's my name.
I don't care how he pronounces my name. I don't even care that he remembers my whole name. Because he can just go on and call me senator after November.
@MikePermute I'm not trying to blame anyone right now, I am trying to do something about the cameras. I'd rather we find a path forward together not fight to unseat someone. We will hopefully do exactly that on December 1st, but I encourage you to share your opinions on Flock with all CMs
Man who was not there: “I was there”
I literally can’t think of a DFLer I’ve encountered who wasn’t publicly critical of Operation Metro Surge. This is simply inventing a centrist DFLer to be mad at.
Hasan Piker calls out @MinnesotaDFL on their hypocrisy. He's fucking correct:
"When some of those DFL-ers were awfully quiet about ICE coming into their state and attacking their Somali constituents, attacking all of their constituents, I was there. THEY were not. They didn't say a damn fucking thing, just like they didn't say a damn thing when Ilhan Omar was being prosecuted and persecuted by the current administration. It's people like that who are chirping about this appearance.
If you're a Democrat and at this stage, leaning into insane right-wing attacks, concocted by the Republican Party, and you can't find it within yourself to at least be partisan in this moment, the least you can do is shut the fuck up.
Clearly you had no problem shutting the fuck up when your colleague, your peer, another Democrat from your state was under attack by Donald Trump. You had no words to say then, but you have a lot of words to say now. Please, shut the fuck up just like how you did when Ilhan Omar's house was being raided."
@kneepads92 She moved to impeach Noem over this. She stood alongside McCollum and Omar and did her own inspections at Whipple. How is that quiet?
I didn't even vote for her in the primary! I just think this is a ridiculous accusation. She clearly spoke against ICE.
@kneepads92 I gotta get this fast at moving goalposts, you guys are champs.
Ironically, I took that very picture from an article about her not standing by her Laken Riley vote (which we probably agree came way too late) https://t.co/4OH41HVqTs
Pirate’s Corner on 65th is a newer pocket park on the edge of downtown Richfield.
One design detail was added to help memorialize Jack Broz, a Richfield engineer who proposed the project prior to his death: the main plaza area is a little roundabout!
