*Geography geek alert* super pleased with how my display turned out! Hopefully it will encourage and inspire students to take Geography! ππThis was my last big job before I leave, canβt believe tomorrow is my last day of placement! π#geographyteacher#pgce#geography#display
Super excited that Iβve landed the role of STEM Coordinator starting in September! π Looking forward developing the STEM provision further along with a sustainability twist! π #STEM#Sustainability#geographyteacher#STEMed
Feeling incredibly motivated and with the resources and tips from the past few days at @The_GA conference. However, also feeling slightly overwhelmed that the work starts now with deciding how to implement it all π #geographyteacher#GAConf22
An amazing day up at Cwm Idwal for our A Level geographers yesterday! Human fieldwork was in Llandudno on Tuesday. After planning their investigations last night, today is data collection day! π₯³ #geographyteacher#alevel#fieldtrip#nea#edexcel#snowdonia#fsc
Our A Level Geographers had an enjoyable trip out to the Cheltenham Literature Festival on Wednesday afternoon to see Tim Marshall. A very interesting and eye opening talk with lots of curriculum links! Thanks Tim! @Itwitius#CheltLitFest#geography

@MrsMountain_ Iβve used OneNote and Teams to share a document with the Qs on so that the students can then edit. It was better than getting them to send a photo of paper because of the length of the test. Obviously you canβt guarantee no cheating, perhaps they do it with their cameras on?
One half of parents evening done, the other half to go tomorrow! Itβs worth it though speaking to year 8βs about how they enjoy Geography and are choosing it for a GCSE! ππ #geographyteacher#futuregeographers#teaching
@MissAWaters1 Not so much going to bed earlier but waking up feeling way more tired than normal. Also having strange dreams about the my to do list! So frustrating π΄
Had a lovely message from a year 7 this morning, stating that he really enjoyed Fridayβs lesson and watched a documentary on it over the weekend! The past 4 weeks have been tough, but somehow feels worth it after that one message! π #geographyteacher#livelessons#proud
@teachermusingz I used to but felt if I had some downtime and had the urge to check, then I would. Removed them on the basis that I didnβt need to check them and it could wait! Not having them on my phone means not being bothered to get the laptop! I do find it useful when on a trip though!
@MissSavin_Geo@EnserMark@missgeog92@GeographyTom9@fiona_616 Fortunately Iβm at the point where I start a new topic. Going to take it relatively easy for the first lesson - update on the structure of this year and some recap quizzes for reassurance for those topics covered over lockdown, then get back to normal for the second lesson ππ»
