My father puts matooke in a sack in Mbarara, writes my phone number on the sack in marker, and hands it to a bus conductor he has never met. That sack travels two hundred and seventy kilometres and reaches Kampala the same day.
No booking. No contract. No tracking number. A phone number on a sack, and it holds.
Then it stops working.
I get the call, drop whatever I am doing, and go to Bakuli. I stand there looking for my sack among thirty identical sacks. I find a boda. I carry matooke home like the bus never happened.
And before that call, I have no idea where my things are. I phone my father, my father phones the driver, the driver says they are near Masaka. That is our tracking.
Now imagine that same sack, automated. It leaves Mbarara and finds me at home. No trip to Bakuli, no hunting through thirty identical sacks. Just my phone showing me where it is, an SMS when it leaves and another when it is at my gate.
LET'S PRAY
Dear God, in You we place our trust for rescue and restoration. We pray that You take over all our battles, rescue us from the traps of the evil one, and frustrate every plan intended for our downfall. May Your power, mercy, and protection surround us, and may Your name be glorified in our lives. In Jesusโ name, Amen!
@nwsc_ug National Water and sewage cooperation is requesting for 150,000 to give us back the meter that was taken them and the reason was that it was idle. A/c 21214486. Is this where you have reached with service delivery? How uncouth?
Let us pray ๐
Our Father in heaven, we love and glorify Your holy name. Thank You for this new day, the gift of life, and all the blessings You provide. We commit ourselves into Your hands today; guide us, use us for Your purpose, and meet us in our times of need. May Your will be done in our lives. We pray this in Jesusโ name. Amen. ๐
