On the contrary, I think it's inspiring and it would be great to enable more to do so (and to show them how to do so safely e.g. important contacts/travel insurance/what to do if...)

@unbroken_amy @KirstieMAllsopp I'm not sure I would let my teen do this (though I crossed Europe unsupervised at 14 myself) but the fact is that he will have had technology, extra cash and cards and is reportedly well-travelled.

@ThisisDavina I am unknown to the world but know how you feel. A couple of weeks ago I caught a woman drawing a picture of me on the train. It was so strange! I didn't mind too much but could imagine some people getting quite upset.

@DrRobgalloway The same happened to our daughter. So quickly very unwell but turned out to be flu. 4 other babies on the ward did have meningitis including the one whose parents were GPs and like you didn't realise at first. So scary but glad the Alex looked after you and your baby is better.
