In 2022, when some girls in Karnataka decided not to follow dress code inside classrooms of schools/colleges and demanded to wear hijab, she argued that Hijab is a choice and it must be allowed for students.

In the same year, in Iran, a woman named Mahsa Amini was arrested by morality police for wearing hijab "improperly". She collapsed in custody and later died in hospital. Her family said that she was tortured in custody. In this case, Arfa Khanum did not give lectures about choice and remained silent.

Today, she called Ali Khamenei a Farishta (Angel). But when it comes to school dress code in India, she labels the country as fascist and cries Islamophobia.
