Personal Opinion: About the tragic @airindia crash in Ahmedabad. Hats off to Radhika Mishra (daughter of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupaniji who died in the crash) for making a stand, and not giving into pressure by @airindia & @Boeing.
It is absolutely unethical to pressure families of the crash victims to choose between financial support and the pursuit of truth. It's been a year since the crash, and still no answers, besides deliberately trying to ruin the reputation of the pilots without sufficient evidence.
All of us deserve answers, and the victims certainly deserve a chance to take legal action against all those responsible, while receiving IMMEDIATE, unconditional financial compensation. @airindia obviously does not care about its passengers, their safety or their lives.
Congratulations to HonтАЩble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on completing 12 years in office as the Prime Minister of India.
Over the last decade, India has witnessed transformational change driven by a clear vision of nation-building, tireless dedication, and unwavering commitment to inclusive growth. From strengthening IndiaтАЩs position on the global stage to accelerating infrastructure development, digital transformation, financial inclusion, and governance reforms, the journey has been remarkable.
Initiatives such as Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Digital India, Startup India, PM Gati Shakti, Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, and the push for тАЬMade in IndiaтАЭ manufacturing have laid the foundation for IndiaтАЩs emergence as a global economic powerhouse and a preferred investment destination.
His relentless focus on manufacturing, innovation, ease of doing business, infrastructure creation, and empowering IndiaтАЩs youth continues to shape the countryтАЩs growth story and aspirations for Viksit Bharat.
Wishing HonтАЩble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji continued strength, good health, and success as he leads India towards new milestones of progress and prosperity. @PMOIndia@narendramodi

DidnтАЩt expect this from TATA. It is becoming so insensitive trying to protect itself and its OEMs that they are asking victim families to forego Justice and truth. They want to offer some money so that people forget to ask about justice?
The larger point here is what has happened to the ideals of empathy and human values that the @TataCompanies once stood for ? Why are they insisting that compensation is subject to victims foregoing their pursuit for justice? While @airindia is conveniently saying their offer is not time bound, what in effect their offer means is that only those victims can avail of compensation who are willing to offer indemnity to Air India and all OEMs. @DGCAIndia
The report by ET raises deeply troubling questions. If true, why are families of victims of AI171 being asked to sign broad waivers and тАЬfull & finalтАЭ settlement documents before the final investigation report is out?
Can any airline seek legal releases covering not only itself but also third parties such as OEMs, manufacturers, airports, or other stakeholders before the truth is fully established? On what legal basis can Air India seek waivers on behalf of entities such as Boeing, GE, Honeywell or others?
This is not merely about compensation. It is about the fundamental right of victimsтАЩ families to know the truth, pursue accountability and make informed legal decisions. Any settlement obtained before complete disclosure of facts raises serious concerns regarding natural justice, informed consent and fairness.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation, DGCA, AAIB and the highest authorities of Government must urgently examine whether such practices are appropriate while investigations into the AI171 Ahmedabad crash of 12 June 2025 remain ongoing.
Most importantly, families must be clearly informed whether signing any тАЬfull & finalтАЭ settlement today could impact their future rights to pursue legal remedies against any airline, manufacturer, service provider or other entity found responsible after the investigation concludes.
Justice must not be traded for speed. Truth must come before closure.

Air India is offering compensation to families of the Ahmedabad crash victims on the condition they permanently waive their right to legal action, says daughter of former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, who died in the crash
Investigation still incomplete #aviation
Victims of the tragic Air India crash deserve both: compensation as well as justice. It is not an either/or situation. Extremely cruel on part of @airindia management to offer compensation to families of victims only if they forego their legal rights. Kudos to Late Vijay Rupani ji's daughter Radhika Mishra for giving voice to concerns of family members of all the victims. Why should compensation be subject to the families providing indemnity to not only Air India but even its OEMs. @DGCAIndia

Horrible service by @bsesdelhi! A 15 minute of rain, and electricity is gone for 6 hours now and there is no resolution at sight. Even the inverters in entire area have given up. This at a time when heat is at peak, and there are people who need electricity for the survival. Shame on you, @bsesdelhi.
