With all due respect @amittm , the lack of prior communication around the vesting of PvP event rewards is disappointing especially after players committed 8 full days of time and effort.
Expectations should be clearly set from the start.

Additionally, there’s growing concern within the community around the declining utility of Pirate NFTs. While initially presented as the premier asset of Proof of Play, they've since been sidelined no POP points, limited relevance in recent events, and diminishing long term value.

If @PirateNation aims to retain and grow its core player base, faster action is needed on introducing meaningful token sinks. The current approach buying gems, tomes, etc. is too passive. Many of us believe PvP could be the perfect space for this: allow us to battle using our tokens, and inject real stakes and excitement back into the ecosystem.

To add on the Season 3 vesting timeline players are now looking at a 180 day vesting schedule, while early backers begin receiving 1/36th of their allocation starting June 2025. This disconnect feels unfair, especially toward the active community who’s been grinding gauntlets, raiding in High Seas, and spending real money to support the in game economy. If long term alignment is the goal, maybe it’s worth revisiting backer vesting terms too.

The players driving daily engagement and momentum deserve the same level of respect and consideration as early investors.

There’s no doubt that your team knows how to build great infrastructure and games. But I’ve lost confidence in their ability to succeed as a blockchain gaming project.

The issues lie in the lack of marketing clarity, fragmented vision and strategy, and most importantly poor communication with the early, core community that helped get this project off the ground.

These decisions matter.

And the community is paying attention.

Change my mind.

I’m sharing this as someone deeply engaged and supportive of the project. But honest feedback is necessary when expectations aren’t being met.
