Learning about the senate structure and rules, the actual delineation of powers of the equal branches, and the impeachment process–lahat ito ay saklaw ng Sibika. At bilang mamamayan, tungkulin natin itong matutunan at lumahok sa gawaing panlipunan.
On one end, I appreciate how much I'm learning now about all of these civic matters–things I believe was taught to us in elem/hs Araling Panlipunan but failed to comprehend fully. Unfortunately, these are becoming known to us out of the current political controversies.
It's hard to psyche yourself, fortify those mental defenses, and stay nonchalant. I stand by ignoring for bliss—that's how I've always survived highly emotional situations. And hope that in time, I'll grow out of the yearning, of loving, of caring, of sadness.
I just wanna know if the shoved down feelings are eventually drained out—albeit a long, slow process. I kinda wanna think that nothing is permanently bottled up, that somehow the neuronal connections that store those memories and emotions slowly detach, decay, and fade away...
I don't know why and if it's just me but the war-induced oil price hike is disturbingly making me anxious and panicky.
Like, it's mentally stressing me out about our access to all other goods and commodities. Bukas feeling ko wala nang mabibili at makakain. 😣
Heartbreak depression is so utterly opportunistic and covertly cruel—one moment you're smiling from ear to ear then you spiral down after realizing you no longer have that other half to share this joy with.
