@SaffronOlive It makes sense to me, like at this point I've accepted the direction of the game isn't for me, but can totally understand why current MtG is great for some players. I may personally not be into Universes Beyond or Commander but they're both been extremely popular overall
@G0ffThew First reaction was red because I'm a bit too game theory brained, but blue is 100% the moral option in a world where not 100% of people are purely rational actors who will pick red
@edmundmcmillen I think this where I'm at having beaten the infinite, I think fighter and hunter are S tier purely for consistency reasons and as a caveat even C tier classes have the potential to be busted just finding that they're more often than not my weakest links
@coflorcana Impossible to tell without giving things time to settle, very possible once the meta adjusts it'll turn out to be over hyped, but it was already a very good deck so entirely possible it's been pushed over the threshold
@JayExci It's also a point of not being able to prepare it both because it's sickening if you haven't ate meat for a long time and wouldn't be able to confidently cook it to taste good
@postoctobrist I would hope any positivity would be because of generative algorithms that have been used for far longer than the AI hype cycle and not positivity around large language models or their ilk
@OndrejStrasky I don't think crypto meaningfully solves that problem compared to traditional digital games though, like yes you might have a permanent record in a ledger saying you own a card, but if the service goes down or is denied to you then that fact is largely meaningless still
