@akudya96 Agreed.
Rohit and Virat are great players, but Rohit’s poor form and frustration with younger players is concerning. Leadership should inspire not intimidate. Virat’s behavior and disappointing performance also need attention. Accountability is key.
Last night, the @internetactvsm community had the idea to make a tool to help those seeking asylum.
This morning, they had a prototype.
This is more than an organization, it’s a movement.
Why NYC is the greatest city in the world:
You can walk a mile and be somewhere completely different
It's paradise for extroverts and introverts alike; there's something for everyone
You'll be inspired be everything - the art, the music, the hustle
There's never a dull moment
Noticing that every single well-organized course, company, and lifestyle depends on a set of axioms that must remain true, regardless of circumstances.
I guess that is truly first principles.
Company:
This one is simple, and it is known. Make a mission statement. Make sure that every single employee, founder, and stakeholder is fully convicted in that mission.
Without this, the company will fail.
Lifestyle:
Do some thinking. Create a set of axioms for your life. One of mine is always having at least one thing that will keep me smiling.
Now every single decision you make can stem from these axioms, and if something disobeys these axioms, you know not to do it.
As you get older you will realize how there are something's you can't change. And that's just something you have to accept. Something you have to live with. That's all.
Work hard, trust the customer (viewer) be honest, never let up and never be defeated. Get up earlier than the other guy, go to bed later. be mission focused and be kind, generous and helpful to those less fortunate.
