That's all folks. I busted. There was an UTG raise then Utg+1 call. I'm in the LJ and raise AKo all in for 9 big blinds. Freaking small blind looks at his cards and calls. First to players fold. Small blind turns over AA!!! Fuck. Flop gives me a sweat of J106. But I brick out
We're in the dumps here on this trip. Rough last night. I'm down 1k for the trip. Should have a full day today to get out of it though. Any encouragement on here would be appreciated!
We are now past dinner. I've been chipping up slowly. Now have 30 big blind. There are a lot of good players at table now who seem to be traveling across country playing these tourneys. They don't mind putting money in the pot. After they bust out I see them buying in again
Just had my AK lose to K2 when turn came a 2. Then now just had A8 lose to A6 when he flopped two pair. I kept both pots pretty small though so still sitting with 70 big blinds
Damn it. Just had A7cc. Flop is A86. Turn 7. I put a guy alk in for his last 50k and he calls with AJ. River is a fucking 8 which counterfeits my two pair. I could of had an extra 120k in my stack. Oh well, I still have 46 big blinds. 50 minutes until dinner break
Broke over 200k mark. I raised KJcc from CO & BTN calls. Flop comes Q108dd. He bet 1/3 pot, I call. Turn 5d. I ✔️, he ✔️. River 9 giving me a straight. I bet $35k into 50k pot. And he calls. I show and he mucks. I win!!
At 2nd break. Just had a guy try to bluff me on river. He just didn't know that I do not fold so I win a $140k pot. After the break I will have 85 big blinds. More than comfortable enough. Guy on my left won MSPT in East Chicago last Nov. Guy on his left finished 3rd. Uhg
Update.. @ 83 big blinds, which is still starting stack. I've been quite aggressive. I planned on doing that more this tourney. I've upped my 3 betting. I've been protecting my big blind more. It's a roller coaster, but I feel this strategy gives a better chance to build a stack
Just took a big hit. I call an UTG raise with 109s. Flop is J1010. I ✔️, call. Turn Q. I ✔️ then call his bet. River is a perfect 9 for the boat. I bet out tiny bet. He raises a big chunky size. I just call and he turns over Q10 for a bigger boat. We are down to 120 big blinds
OMG.. Right before break I raise 44 in early position. 3 of us check to river. Board is 665AA. I bluff half pot and get called. I proudly turn over my 44 and guy folds!!!! I was only playing the board. All he needed was a card over a 5 to beat me. Whew, let's go!!!
For those is you not to familiar with how poker tournament go (aka Jill), when I get under 20 big blind, it's about the time when it get critical. Having said that, I could bust out of tourney at any time. Theoretically of course because that's not going to happen to me.
