There is bad service and then there is our embassy. Absolutely horrible service. I have been waiting for over 2 months now for passport reissue and there is no update what so ever. (1/n)

Called the emergency number at @IndianEmbassyUS in NYC and it asked me to leave a message and when I tried it says that their Mailbox is full. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Is this how communication at embassy work?
