Literally why the fuck does medicare not cover skin checks/mole mapping when we have one of the highest incidences of skin cancer in the world. 2/3rds of us will get some type of it!
You can see him here when he hears my bike he comes sprinting for the bike.
It’s only half way down that he remembers to put the “limp” on.
Bubba associates the limp with nice treats (4/7)
In a year where Gisele Pelicot held 50 rapists to account - inviting millions of other survivors around the world to stand on their own 2 feet with her - it's devastating to see this man be named Person of the Year for the 2nd time. The message it sends all of us? Patriarchy wins
While I nodded, nearly napping,
Suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently trotting,
Trotting ‘cross my chamber floor.
“Thou hast eaten,” I muttered, “I shall not feed you any more”
Quoth the kitty “feed me more”
90 women are now dead - 11 women killed in November. When do we riot?
We lost the 90th Australian to violence yesterday. Last night police attended her home in Footscray, Victoria, to do a welfare check. Today the homicide squad is investigating. No one is charged. Police are seeking witnesses and CCTV or dasham footage.
She is the 90th woman killed in 2024 and the 11th woman killed in November.

@littleapostate A puppy shouldn’t be left to mingle with ANY other adult dog unsurprised. Period. Yes, pitties and similar breeds can do much more damage but puppies annoy a lot of adult dogs and altercations are frequent.
This is the story of Kay.
Kay was a police officer serving in one of Australia's toughest beats - the Northern Territory.
The Northern Territory has one of the highest domestic violence rates in Australia - 8 of the 10 women killed their in the past few months were allegedly killed by their partners.
Kay was experiencing extreme violence at the hands of her male partner - a fellow police officer.
She would not report him herself as she feared he would kill her.
Her loved ones did tell on him - at least 17 times. He was never charged and no DVOs were enacted.
In 2020, Kay suffered traumatic head injury. He was the only person with her at the time. Despite the injury being consistent with being hit around the head, he was not charged with her murder, manslaughter or other violence offences.
He was charged with fail to rescue for not getting her medical care.
That charge has now been dropped and he has returned to work. He will never face justice.
Kay will never receive justice.
She matters - but not to authorities.
