@BillAckman My kids are out of the house, and I want to downsize and move back to New York City, but won’t do it under the current climate. My significant other wants to open a business office in New York City as well, but won’t either. Unfortunate for New York, unfortunate for the world.
So let's recap the story of DSA co-chair Gustavo:
- Lied about being a union electrician
- Father is multimillionaire CEO who fled communism
- Owns multiple mansions, are landlords
- Parents bought him a million-dollar townhouse
- Converted it from two-family to luxury single family
- Reduced housing inventory, displaced two tenants
- Spent another million on renovations
- Didn't use union labor on renovations
- Didn't get proper permits for renovations
- Lived in a Crown Heights apartment in the meantime
- Stiffed landlord, evicted, taken to housing court
And that's what we know so far.
This is the DSA. This is who they are. Spoiled brat rich kids with zero redeeming value. They're all like this.
None of this is new either. There have always been kids like this. The difference is they now have a tremendous amount of power here, and that's a problem.
@HawkEmDownChris The first game I played on the Apple II was text-based space game / you put in X and Y coordinates and then it told you what’s going on there. Sort of like choose your adventure.
