Marcus Rashford's campaign to feed hungry kids during the school holidays in the UK was rejected by the government.

Today, he's turned his Twitter feed into a network of restaurants, cafes and communities who will feed those children for free instead.

This man is a genuine role model. Grew up poor & become one of United best players then continued by never forgetting where he came from and is helping those in need. KING 👑🔴 #MUFC

[Gary Lineker @GaryLineker]

Well played @MarcusRashford. Check his timeline. Extraordinary from a remarkable young man. 👏🏻👏🏻

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

What @MarcusRashford’s doing off the pitch as on the pitch is simply extraordinary. Fantastic talent, fantastic person. 🎩👏🏻

I’m sorry but if Mason Greenwood was playing tonight then we’d be 1-4 up...

A hero on and off the pitch 🙌

Our board is embarrassing

We qualified for the Champions League and we have only signed ONE player to improve our squad

Shambolic

New season starts in days and Ole is going in to it with basically same side. How the fuck is that progress or ambition? Disgrace

[Mark Goldbridge @markgoldbridge]

Every United fan I've spoken to or interacted with today is frustrated and upset because of how the club they love is being run. I don't care where they are from, we're all in this together and all United by our passion for United to be better #mufc

[Kalshi EPL @KalshiEPL]

Genuinely hurts that everything he built is slowly burning down and deteriorating 😪

[Alex Shaw @AlexShawTel]

Man Utd confirmed UCL qualification on July 26. One of the world's richest clubs (even after paying their owners dividends) and yet here we are, 4 days until the new season, and still the same questions over the squad and no major sign of arrivals yet.

[Mark Goldbridge @markgoldbridge]

As for all this Mason Greenwood press negativity. Do one! Seen this for years. Build them up then smash them down. He's 18 ffs! He's a top class footballer. Let him grow and learn from his mistakes

[GOAL @goal]

Van Dijk has now made two errors leading directly to a goal in his last four Premier League games - more than he registered in his first 154 appearances in the competition 😳

[🃏 @BilLyUtd_]

Trent has been dribbled past more time in the 1st half (4) than than Wan Bissaka is the entire last season
