Road rage is common in Bengaluru and becoming a serious issue.
No one has the right to assault, threaten or harass anyone on the road whoever they are.
Innocent people shouldn’t be targeted by so-called locals, influential families or self-proclaimed gangsters. Disagreements must never turn into violence.
Let’s promote respect, patience & accountability. Roads are for everyone. Safety first!
This is nerve-chilling...
This is NICE Road, as claimed in the video. Absolutely shocking if true.
If I'm alive, I can always buy more ethanol and drive another day. But nobody cares if I die because of something that wasn't even my fault.

Bengaluru Metro's technical glitch at Cubbon Park Metro Station on Thursday was caused by a commuter's metal chain becoming lodged in a train door guideway, preventing the doors from closing properly and disrupting Purple Line services from 7:36pm to 7:54pm, BMRCL's preliminary investigation found.
A detailed inspection confirmed there was no technical fault with the train or its door system. BMRCL in a statement said all safety protocols were followed before the train was cleared for service and reiterated its commitment to passenger safety @OfficialBMRCL
Her name was Neha Shoree.
She was a drug inspector in Punjab.
In 2009, while posted in Ropar, she raided a chemist shop run by a man named Balwinder Singh.
During the inspection, she found dozens of types of tablets commonly misused by drug addicts. According to official records, he could not produce the required documents for them.
She cancelled his licence.
Then she moved on and continued doing her job.
By 2016, Neha Shoree had become the zonal licensing authority at a government drug laboratory in Kharar, near Mohali.
She was thirty six years old.
She had a young daughter at home. Her father was a retired Army captain who had fought in the 1971 war.
The man whose licence she had cancelled never forgot what had happened.
On the morning of March 29, 2019, Balwinder Singh walked into her office in Kharar carrying a licensed revolver.
He shot her inside her workplace.
Neha Shoree was rushed towards a hospital but died on the way.
The gunman then turned the weapon on himself and died soon afterwards.
According to the police, she had been due to testify against him in court.
Ten years had passed since the raid.
Ten years after she enforced the law, he came back for revenge.
Her father later said that his daughter had lived under pressure for years because of her work, but she never compromised and never backed down.
She was killed for doing exactly what the job had asked her to do.

It’s a politically risky and unpopular decision. But, necessary for the sake of Bengaluru.
At least some footpaths should be reserved for pedestrians. I request people to respect the fundamental right of public to decent footpath. Pls voluntarily remove encroachments or obstructions. It is the law. It may inconvenience you. But, it is for the larger good.

Interesting. TVK General Secretary N. Anand has publicly warned party cadres against indulging in the poster and banner culture.
Despite repeated advice, many cadres continue the practice. He emphasised that Chief Minister Vijay is very serious about this issue.
The cadres have been instructed to immediately remove all posters and banners put up for the Chief Minister’s birthday and clean up public spaces.
He also made it clear that such behaviour will not be tolerated in the future.

It has been my honour and privilege to serve in the Revenue Department. This work added real meaning to my public life.
Together, we were able to deliver better services and good governance to the people. We went to their doorsteps and accomplished what many believed was impossible. We addressed issues that had remained unresolved for decades. It was, in many ways, a silent revolution.
The journey was tough and challenging, but that is what made it all the more satisfying. We demonstrated that meaningful change is possible, even in the Revenue Department.
We took it upon ourselves to solve people’s problems instead of waiting for them to come to us with applications. While we have not eliminated corruption entirely, we plugged loopholes, fixed systemic issues at their source, introduced online systems and automatic approvals, and significantly reduced opportunities for corruption. Through technology and digitisation, we brought governance to people’s fingertips.
To the people we served: I hope our work made even a small difference in your lives. I hope we were able to resolve some of your long-pending problems. It has been my great fortune to have had the opportunity to serve you. The quiet affection and trust I received from the people are priceless the greatest asset one can earn in public life.
I sincerely thank the public for their unwavering support. Your encouragement was my driving force. I also thank my team of officers, whose dedication made all of this possible.
Finally, I thank my party, Shri @siddaramaiah , and Shri @DKShivakumar for their support and guidance throughout this journey.
