What strikes me as peculiar is your framing of JK Rowling as being obsessed with imaginary sex changes, when it's clear she's not an idiot.

JK Rowling is not preventing anyone from dressing how they like, using hormones, getting surgery, changing their name, or living socially as they choose.

Are you claiming any of those things constitutes a sex change or that JK Rowling believes that?

I'm sure we're all very aware that JK Rowling has not made any claims that she could be the cause or the prevention of an impossibility like sex change.

What she has questioned is whether everyone else must pretend sex can be changed, and whether that belief should override female-only spaces, women’s sport, prisons, shelters, language, safeguarding, and data. Which of these questions is unreasonable or unanswerable?

In any case, you can't prevent people from doing that which they are incapable of doing, so nobody's preventing any sex changes. So your framing as “preventing people from changing sex” should be understood as "refusing to let a fiction override reality."
