Members of Toronto’s Jewish community are planning something special at Bathurst and Sheppard Sunday in honour of beloved, slain @TorontoPolice Const. Marc Pinizzotto. To give police a break and out of respect for officer many got to know, focus will solely be on vigil to him.
A message to locals and visitors:
We’re glad you’re here to enjoy the World Cup but please do so safely.
Never put your hands on a police officer.
They will arrest you. You will be charged.
Our holding cells do not have TVs. You will miss the game you came to enjoy.
Thank you @bluejays for recognizing and honouring the service and sacrifice of Emergency Task Force Constable Marc Pinizzotto and @OPP Constable Tarun Bali at tonight’s game.
Our policing family continues to grieve alongside their loved ones, colleagues, and communities. We are deeply grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support from across Toronto and throughout the country during this difficult time.

@MadelnCanada Both non Canadians…one decides to all of a sudden care and go elbows up after 30 plus years of living abroad and the other becoming the poster child for Tim Hortons but in reality when you go into any Tim Hortons you swear you are in Delhi…Canadians by convenience
