On day 1 a full point is a confidence booster, so spending extra energy would be totally justifiable imo &again-0.4 doesn't mean that the chances of winning are lower, it's higher btonly if you choose to play

@DeveshsK_ @PHChess I think there's a significant imbalance otb with position being far from a draw & black is having all the fun. There are certain players (Gukesh, Carlsen etc) who'd push even when all the computer lines show 0.00 bt I guess that's the differentiator between WCs & great players
