Our Mission: To develop, support and promote policies, practices and programs that reduce the harmful consequences of substance use and misuse in New Hampshire
🌈 Share your pronouns on Zoom/email signature/in person
🌈 Have gender neutral bathrooms when possible
🌈 Make sure language for company policies is inclusive
🌈 Advocate for LGBTQIA people even when they aren’t around
🌈 Pay LGBTQIA people for their time and expertise
As we wrap up the end of Pride Month we want to remind everyone that LGBTQIA+ people are welcomed and celebrated by NHHRC all year long, not just during pride month. We encourage others to do that same.

Today is International Sex Workers’ Day.
ISWD is held to mark the 1975 occupation of Saint-Nizier Church by around 100 sex workers, protesting their criminalised & exploitative living conditions. Sex workers continue to mark the day by calling for fulfilment of their rights.
A9: Our work wouldn’t be possible w/o our community–which has always been led & for people who use drugs, many of whom were/are BIPOC LGBTQIA2S+ folks who literally took the safety & well-being of those around them into their own hands through street work, advocacy, & radical ❤️.
A9. Thank you to all of @harmreductionNH volunteers, participants and board members (along with all of my colleagues). We make Harm Reduction in NH happen and #NH is better off for it 🥰

Q9. We know our missions aren’t possible without all the people who support us along the way. Give a shout out to your participants, volunteers, donors and board members!

A8: Some of our fav books: Saving Our Own Lives (Shira Hassan) & Towards Bodily Autonomy (@justice_writes). Shoutout to @the_TFP for tracking all of the anti-trans legislation. Big ups to @drscholarlee’s GENDERED podcast for sharing the voices of our TGNCNB communities.
A7. One big win was that @harmreductionNH launched the states very first Overdose Prevention Van and I was the one who designed the exterior 🥰🥰🥰
Not only are we reaching more ppl but I was able to help by using my artistic talents!

@harmreductionNH A7: Despite legislative setbacks across the country, this yr we grew a lot bc of our Lighthouse Learning Series. 1200 registrations over 8 sessions! We’re currently embarking on a project w/ @transequity_ to create a Gender Affirming Care Toolkit for all 14 SSPs in NYC!
@harmreductionNH A6: Harm Reduction has created the space that we have. Without it, LLC would cease to exist! It allows us and our members to have nuanced conversations with one another that accounts for our exp with drugs, with sex work, with our queer identities.
A5B: We celebrate through joy & hope as resistance w/ our loved ones, families/chosen families, & colleagues. While we acknowledge this may not be a joyful time for all, we celebrate & uplift joy however it may look for you - celebration means something different to everyone.
