@TODAYshow It is possible she couldn't afford insurance as Texas did NOT accept Medicaid expansion under ACA so people under 65 who are not disabled cannot get Medicaid in that state.

@TODAYshow Please correct Retton's mistake. She said she couldn't get insurance bc of "pre-existings." Not possible. It's illegal to charge more for them under Affordable Care Act.

@patrickhealynyt @nytopinion Will you do focus groups with Independents, PLEASE? As I'm sure you know, there are more of them than Rs & Ds and since they're likely the only ones who will change their minds in this polarized time, they're key to understanding election swings, etc.
