Exciting news from the @zama team the long-awaited auction timeline has officially been announced. A full 10% of the total supply will be offered, and the sale will follow a sealed-bid Dutch auction format.
Here are the confirmed dates:

Auction: January 12 – January 15
Claim: January 20

But that’s not all.
Zama Creator Program has just wrapped up Season 4, and Season 5 is now live! With momentum building, the team is also targeting mainnet launch by the end of 2025, aiming to have the token fully functional before the auction begins.
I’m personally very curious about what Season 5 will bring new opportunities, new tools, maybe even new ways to get involved in the ecosystem.

Honestly… today’s drop from OpenZeppelin x Zama might be the most slept-on privacy upgrade Web3 has seen all year.

Confidential Contracts v0.3.0 isn’t “just another update.”
It legit feels like someone flipped the switch from “privacy is theoretical” → to “privacy is finally usable.”
What stood out to me:

FHE VM now running Solidity 0.9.1 (finally feels smooth instead of experimental)

Native ERC-165 detection

And the new modules? Omnibus, Observer, AccessRestricted, Freezable, RWA it’s like they opened a whole toolbox we didn’t have yesterday

This basically means:
DeFi, RWAs, gaming, credit scoring, identity… all the stuff that needs privacy to not be sketchy… just got way closer to being real.

The wild part?
We’re getting to a point where you can build full apps where the logic stays private, the data stays encrypted, and the chain still verifies everything. That’s the direction the entire space should have been moving in from day one.
This is a big step toward programmable privacy becoming default, not optional.
