Kite Mainnet is now live.
This is not just another mainnet. It is the first blockchain built for agentic payments.
Designed for an agent-first internet, for builders, and for the future Agent Economy.
What makes Kite Mainnet different:
Built for builders and agents. Not chasing TVL. Not chasing the next DeFi cycle. Not competing for idle speculative capital.
Three layers, one platform:
• Settlement Layer: built for high-frequency, low-value, agent-driven stablecoin-native transactions.
• Kite Agent Passport: unifies identity, delegated authority, and programmable governance.
• Agent Interface & Experience: where agents and developers interact with the system through agent registration, agent harnesses, and service discovery.
A unified hub for all major payment protocol standards, including x402, Google AP2, and Stripe MPP.

Let's build the rails for the Agent Economy.
"The Age of Autonomous Systems" isn't a forecast. It's the stack being built right now: agents that act, transact, and get things done on your behalf. The premise underneath all of it is a trust layer, which is exactly what Kite is building.

Kite is embedding verifiable identity and programmable spend controls into global payment rails, physical AI, and developer workflows. Here's what we delivered last week:
1️⃣ We joined the Avalanche Payments Collective as a Contributing Partner alongside @FTDA_US, @vaneck_us, and @krakenfx, bringing the Kite Agent Passport to a global payments network covering 150+ countries and 96 currencies.
2️⃣ We shipped cross-chain x402 payments, allowing agents to settle transactions across Base, Tempo, and Solana regardless of where funds are held, with full route timelines now visible in the Kite Passport dashboard.
3️⃣ Settlement is now live on Base, enabling direct-pay and cross-chain routing to handle 1:1 USDC bridging and replacing the treasury relay path for agent wallets.
4️⃣ At Agent Experience Demo Night in SF, our Co-Founder & CTO @scottshics previewed a new developer product coming this month that provides per-user spend visibility and automated cost controls to prevent runaway agent bills.
5️⃣ Kite joined @AethirCloud as an ecosystem partner for Aethir Claw, providing agents with the verifiable identity and stablecoin settlement layer needed to move from ready-to-work to ready-to-transact.
6️⃣ We partnered with @ChainPatrol to protect the Kite community, successfully identifying and taking down 381 malicious links and impersonation attempts to date.
7️⃣ We supported @RiverdotInc Sessions x AI in Tokyo on July 13, joining @axisrobotics and @0G_labs to explore the onchain infrastructure required for physical AI and robotics to sense, settle, and act.
8️⃣ We announced the winners of the Kite Global Hackathon, hosted with @encodeclub alongside @googlecloud, @avax, @cbventures, @smbcnikko_jp, @StanfordSBA with @theBBFund, and @BerkeleyHaas. Over two months, builders competed across Agentic Commerce, Agentic Trading and Portfolio Management, and a Novel track, judged by leaders from Microsoft, Uber, Nvidia, Meta, and Google DeepMind. Eight teams shared a $12,400 prize pool, led by Flattora × ZUKKU (1st), Quittance and WasiAI A2A Gateway (2nd), and ORCA and Kutip (3rd), with standouts like a physical robot concierge that books trips inside budget caps and proof-of-delivery escrow already live on Kite Mainnet.
9️⃣ We launched the Kite Mainnet Use Case campaign in our Discord, recognizing the creative contributions and organic support driving the growth of the Kite ecosystem.
The infrastructure for the agentic internet requires both identity and control. 🪁
3️⃣ Settlement on Base
Kite Passport now supports settlement on Base. Direct-pay and cross-chain routing handle settlement directly, replacing the treasury relay path.
As part of enabling Base support, USDC held by mainnet agent wallets was bridged 1:1 to each wallet's corresponding Base address. Check balances on your Base address going forward.
If your integration relied on the treasury relay or assumed Kite as the settlement chain, update it to expect Base settlement.
Required: kpass 1.6.0 and skills bundle 35 or later.
curl -fsSL https://t.co/lZxlZHi7Nj | bash
Your agent can pay across Base, Tempo, and Solana, even when its funds sit on a different supported chain. No moving assets around first. This release ships cross-chain x402 payments, route timelines in the dashboard, and one important update:
1️⃣ Cross-chain payment routing. An x402 payment can now settle on a chain other than the one holding your funds. Kite Passport bridges and routes automatically across Base, Tempo, and Solana.
2️⃣ Route timelines in the dashboard. Every routed payment shows its journey: chain logos, bridged amounts, explorer links, and token logos for USDC and PYUSD.
3️⃣ Settlement on Base. Direct-pay and cross-chain routing now handle settlement directly, replacing the treasury relay path. Agent wallet USDC balances now show on Base, bridged 1:1.
Kite Passport handles the route. Your agent handles the payment. 🪁
2️⃣ Route timelines
A routed payment crosses chains, so the dashboard now shows the journey, not just the result: chain logos, bridged amounts, explorer links, and token logos for USDC and PYUSD, alongside session detail views.
Transaction history now shows routing analytics, and the CLI shows which chain each transaction settled on.
A company of two people and 10,000 AI agents. That might be what founding a startup looks like from here.
On @davidsenra's podcast, @GroqInc Founder & CEO @JonathanRoss321 laid out what AI does to company building.
In this clip:
▷ Senra's picture of the future: you, a co-founder, and 10,000 AI agents. And Jensen Huang's answer to the fear of managing agents smarter than you: "I already do that." 60 direct reports, each smarter in their own domain, and he orchestrates them all.
▷ Ross on the founder skill that survives: asking the question no one else thought to ask. It's a skill, and you can hone it.
▷ The unsolved part: a workforce of 10,000 agents needs more than intelligence. Every one of them needs verifiable identity, a budget it cannot exceed, and a way to settle what it spends.
That trust layer is the infrastructure Kite is building. 🪁
Jonathan Ross wanted a few phone numbers so a bunch of his agents could join him on Signal and WhatsApp. Twilio kept asking him to prove he was human. His ideal fix: allocate a budget to the AI and let it spend on its own.
On @davidsenra's podcast, @GroqInc founder @JonathanRoss321 laid out why agent payments are about to take off. In this clip:
▷ AI is really good at using AI. That is what agentic means: one agent kicks off research jobs for another, and usage compounds exponentially
▷ When agents start making payments, payment volume skyrockets. The limiter today: "payments aren't really built for this yet." Micropayments change that
▷ His ideal setup: give the AI a budget, let it spend within that budget, and never think about it again
That last idea is exactly what Kite is building: the Kite Agent Passport gives every agent a verifiable identity and enforceable, user-defined budgets, and the high-frequency micropayments those agents generate settle onchain in stablecoins on Kite's own Layer 1. No more proving you are human. 🪁
Today, Kite is excited to announce the winners of the Kite Global Hackathon, hosted with @encodeclub alongside @googlecloud, @avax, @cbventures, @smbcnikko_jp, @StanfordSBA with @theBBFund, and @BerkeleyHaas.
Over two months, builders competed across three tracks: Agentic Commerce, Agentic Trading and Portfolio Management, and a Novel track. Judges from Microsoft, Uber, Nvidia, Meta, Google DeepMind, and academia held every submission to a single bar: an agent that performs a real task and settles on-chain, inside limits its owner set.
Eight teams cleared it and shared a $12,400 prize pool:
🏆 First Place: Flattora × ZUKKU
🥈 Second Place: Quittance (@Ghost_xD2), WasiAI A2A Gateway (@fernandoavax)
🥉 Third Place: ORCA (@SamFelix0512, @dr_point_break), Kutip (@BangDropID)
⭐ Special Prizes: NEXUS (@ttkhatri559), NegotiatorGrid, KiteGarden (@Austrix_xd)
From a physical robot concierge that books trips inside budget caps, to proof-of-delivery escrow already live on Kite Mainnet, these projects are not demos of a future agent economy. They are the agent economy, running on Kite.
Full breakdown of all eight projects, with demo videos, in the article above.
@avax Thrilled to join the Avalanche Payments Collective as the first agent-focused member and build the infrastructure for the agent economy together! 🪁🔺
An agent that actually gets work done needs a whole new stack: identity, search, documents, code, and the ability to pay. Last night in San Francisco, that whole stack was in one room.
Thanks to Sapient for hosting Agent Experience Demo Night at Okta, and for putting Kite on stage alongside @auth0, @DocuSign, @Box, @nebiusai, @coderabbitai, and @tavilyai.
Our Co-Founder & CTO @scottshics gave a first look at a developer product coming later this month. Deploying a live agent on Kite, he showed how one developer can ship an AI agent as a product without runaway costs:
▷ Per-user spend visibility, so there's no end-of-month bill shock
▷ Cost controls that downgrade or stop an agent at a set limit
▷ Usage-based pricing, so every user is billed for what they actually cost
More of these conversations to come. 🪁
The rails for global money movement are consolidating. The agents that will soon run on top of them still have to answer one question: who authorized this, and within what limits?
We're proud to join the Avalanche Payments Collective as a Contributing Partner, standing alongside founding members like @FTDA_US, @vaneck_us, @WisdomTreeFunds, @Paxos, @Anchorage, and @krakenfx, in one of the industry's broadest payments ecosystems, reaching 150+ countries and 96 currencies.
▷ What the Collective builds: connected rails across settlement, stablecoins, treasury, FX, and global payouts, so money moves more efficiently across the financial system.
▷ What Kite brings: the agentic layer. The Kite Agent Passport gives every agent a verifiable identity, user-defined spend controls, and a kill switch the human always holds, so agents can transact on these rails without ever touching your credentials.
▷ Why it matters: payments move the value, identity decides who's allowed to move it. Before agents transact at scale, those two layers have to meet.
The agent economy is a team sport. Glad to build it with @avax. 🪁
The Avalanche Payments Collective brings together the infrastructure moving money globally across 150+ countries.
The companies building here today will define the next generation of payments.
And it’s all happening on Avalanche.
From launching programmable spend controls with global partners to scaling our identity stack across physical and digital frontiers, we are building the execution layer for the agent economy.
Here is a look at what we delivered last week 👇
1️⃣ We rebuilt the Kite Passport dashboard around active spending sessions and live transaction history, while introducing a new cloud-deploy skill for agents.
2️⃣ We are partnering with @okx to bring the Kite Agent Passport to OKX OnchainOS, enabling verifiable identity and programmable spend controls for autonomous agents.
3️⃣ Our Co-Founder & CEO @ChiZhangData was announced for the AGI Summit SF 2026 to discuss the shift toward verifiable agent authorization and enforceable spend limits.
4️⃣ We joined the Unibase Memory Chrome Extension as a Launch Partner and released the Kite Memory Card to provide agents with the necessary context to build on Kite.
5️⃣ We co-hosted the River Sessions x AI robotics meetup in Japan with @axisrobotics, exploring the intersection of physical AI and machine intelligence.
6️⃣ We expanded our global footprint by joining the workshop lineup for Hacker House Da Nang and serving as a Community Partner for the @iclblockchain UK AI Agent Hackathon.
7️⃣ We shared the stage at Agent Experience Demo Night in San Francisco, hosted by Sapient and featuring teams like @auth0, @Docusign, and @Box, to showcase the verifiable identity and spend controls agents need to execute real-world tasks.
8️⃣ We joined @Vishwa_lab for a podcast session to discuss why agents require identity, permissions, settlement, and controls, a passport rather than just a payment rail. 🪁
Before an AI agent can actually get work done, it needs a whole new stack: an identity, and the ability to search, to read documents, to review code, and to pay.
Tomorrow in San Francisco, @GoKiteAI shares the stage at Agent Experience Demo Night, hosted by Sapient, with a lineup of teams building the rest of that stack:
▷ @auth0: the identity and login layer, acquired by Okta
▷ @Docusign (Nasdaq: DOCU): the global standard for e-signature and agreements
▷ @Box (NYSE: BOX): enterprise content and documents in the cloud
▷ @nebiusai (Nasdaq: NBIS): AI cloud and GPU infrastructure for training and inference
▷ @coderabbitai: AI code review on every pull request
▷ @tavilyai: the search API built for AI agents
Our Co-Founder & CTO @scottshics will demo Kite's piece: a verifiable identity for every agent, and the ability to spend within limits you set.

3️⃣ kpass cloud
Agents can now ship to the cloud. The new cloud-deploy skill lets an agent provision and deploy a local project to @googlecloud end to end, through kpass cloud.
One command chain from local code to a running cloud deployment.
The split that matters: Kite provisions the tenant, attaches the USD budget, and mints a scoped deployer key. The build and deploy then run locally through gcloud, so Kite never sits in the deploy path.
Architecture below, real command flow after it.
Your agent can spend. Now you can see every cent of it, live. This week's Kite Passport release rebuilds the dashboard around spending sessions and gives agents a new cloud-deploy skill:
1️⃣ A dashboard rebuilt around sessions. Active sessions, transaction history, and per-session activity in one place, updating live. The old /dashboard now redirects to the new /overview.
2️⃣ Sessions made and managed in the browser. Create and attach spending sessions right from the dashboard, copy the session ID to your agent in one click, and edit budgets in place, no recreation needed.
3️⃣ From local project to @googlecloud. The new cloud-deploy skill lets an agent provision and deploy a local project end to end through kpass cloud.
Same principle as always: agents do the work, you keep the visibility and the control. 🪁
2️⃣ Sessions made in the browser
Creating a session no longer requires leaving the browser. A new create-session page lets you establish and attach spending sessions inside the dashboard, then copy the session ID to your agent with one click.
There is also a sandbox environment integrated into the dashboard UI, so you can test payment flows before real money moves.
