Building Agentic Payment Infrastructure

Kite Agent Passport:

Kite Mainnet is now live.

This is not just another mainnet. It is the first blockchain built for agentic payments.

Designed for an agent-first internet, for builders, and for the future Agent Economy.

What makes Kite Mainnet different:

Built for builders and agents. Not chasing TVL. Not chasing the next DeFi cycle. Not competing for idle speculative capital.

Three layers, one platform:

• Settlement Layer: built for high-frequency, low-value, agent-driven stablecoin-native transactions.

• Kite Agent Passport: unifies identity, delegated authority, and programmable governance.

• Agent Interface & Experience: where agents and developers interact with the system through agent registration, agent harnesses, and service discovery.

A unified hub for all major payment protocol standards, including x402, Google AP2, and Stripe MPP.

Any one model can write a briefing. What if your agent could pick the right model for every step, and pay each one itself?

Our new Kite Agent Passport film follows a real run from Oct 15. We asked @bot for a live Strait of Hormuz briefing, and it paid for five models from four labs through @BlockRunAI, with no account or API key at any of them.

▷ Before spending anything, it priced every paid call: about $0.78 in total, with no single call over the $0.50 cap we set.
▷ Claude wrote the analysis, Grok argued against it and Gemini fact-checked it. The analyst said Critical, the red team pushed back, and the final call was High.
▷ Two image models drew the infographic. Eleven paid calls in all, $0.71, paid from the $100 allowance already set in Kite Agent Passport.

Research with an agent. Keep your keys. 🪁

How can merchants tell which AI agents they can trust?

As agents shop and pay on behalf of users, merchants need to assess the risks behind each transaction:

▷ Is the agent using a stolen card?
▷ Is it acting with malicious intent?
▷ Could a hallucination cause it to make an unintended purchase?

In @TheEdgeofShow's Money20/20 special, our co-founder and CEO @ChiZhangData explores these questions and the trust merchants need to open their services to agents.

These questions guide our work at Kite on identity and payment infrastructure for the agent economy.

Watch this clip, then explore the full conversation in the quoted post. 🪁

[The Edge of Show 🎙 @TheEdgeofShow]

Can a team of just three people build a billion-dollar company? And what will AI-powered software look like when every client gets a completely different experience?

On this special Money20/20 edition, Chi Zhang (@ChiZhangData) of Kite AI (@GoKiteAI) and Ran Goldi of Fireblocks share their takes on what's next for AI and financial technology.

It’s been great connecting with the community at Binance Campus in Phu Quoc.

During the masterclass, our Head of Ecosystem Henry @Henryleemr shared what we’re building at Kite and walked through our product demos. Alongside our APAC Lead @0xlaughing, he spent time with KOLs, exchanging ideas and hearing their perspectives.

Thank you to the Binance team and everyone we’ve met. That spirit of supporting one another matters even more in challenging times. We stand with @binance as its recovery efforts continue, and we’ll keep building a stronger, more resilient ecosystem together. 🪁

From more efficient computer-use models and open weights to multi-model agent platforms and frontier safety, the period since our last edition brought major developments across the AI-agent stack.

Here’s everything worth catching up on in the latest edition of AI Agents Pulse:

1️⃣ OpenAI released GPT-6.1 Terra for visual reasoning, computer use and writing in ChatGPT Work, Codex and the API. Standard API pricing is $1 per million input tokens and $5 per million output tokens.
https://t.co/6VT7rlkqF4

2️⃣ Google announced Gemini 4 Carbon for coding, cybersecurity and long-horizon tasks. Access is starting with a subset of cyber defenders through the Fairwind Program, ahead of broader developer, business and consumer availability.
https://t.co/nIjFA2efVw

3️⃣ Mistral released improved Mistral Large 4 weights for agentic coding and defensive cybersecurity, with Low, Medium and High reasoning modes. Its modified MIT license requires a separate commercial license for businesses operating a Model-as-a-Service offering.
https://t.co/lP3QugkYxI

4️⃣ Liquid AI released the first LFM3 models in the 2B-parameter range, bringing text, vision, audio, omni and decision models onto a shared backbone. Base and post-trained weights are available on Hugging Face, alongside Playground and API access.
https://t.co/VpgEckIBjC

5️⃣ Google announced Genie 4, a world model for real-time interactive simulation with native audio. Access began with limited trusted testers; Project Genie access for Google AI Ultra subscribers and Gemini API early access are still coming.
https://t.co/InMqNG2jHg

6️⃣ GitHub made Agentic Workflows generally available. Developers define automation in Markdown, which compiles to GitHub Actions YAML, using Copilot or another coding agent. Agents run with read-only permissions by default, with proposed changes checked before application.
https://t.co/BMuVc5wnVT

7️⃣ Microsoft introduced the Copilot harness in Foundry Agent Service in public preview. It manages the agent loop and sandbox for long-running tasks, while developers supply instructions, skills, tools and model choice.
https://t.co/ePypuesqZl

8️⃣ GitHub introduced the Copilot app and Copilot Fusion at Universe. The app connects agents and tools across projects, while Fusion chooses how to execute a task across one or more models.
https://t.co/MeB0kuqFFO

9️⃣ OpenAI released GPT-6 Rosalind for multistep life-sciences research with scientific tool use. Access is limited to organizations approved for Rosalind Research and their authorized users, rather than general API availability.
https://t.co/s4W0cdZ1WD

🔟 OpenAI updated its Model Spec with guidance on context, oversight and human agency, organized around five values. The company said its models do not yet fully reflect the intended behavior described in the Spec.
https://t.co/nb2NtAj1rI

1️⃣1️⃣ OpenAI detailed expanded monitoring for frontier agents across training, evaluation and internal use, with adaptations for external deployment. Its layered system combines activation probes, model reviewers, investigative agents and human response to flag unauthorized or deceptive behavior.

Most people won't hand their card to an AI, and most shops don't take stablecoins yet. So what can an agent actually buy?

Our new Kite Agent Passport film follows a real run from Oct 13. We asked @bot for Uber credit, and it bought the gift card from @bitrefill in USDC.

▷ We asked for $10. The smallest Uber card on Bitrefill is $15, so it told us before buying anything.
▷ It created the invoice, locked the price at 15.00 USDC and paid from the $100 allowance already set in Kite Agent Passport.
▷ The card code landed right in the chat. 15.003 USDC in all: 15.00 for the card, 0.002 for the invoice and 0.001 for the code.

Your agent can shop the rest of Bitrefill the same way, from Uber rides and groceries to Airbnb stays, Steam games and phone top-ups.

Spend crypto with an agent. Keep your card. 🪁

[KITE AI @GoKiteAI]

@ChiZhangData @binance Stay SAFU! 🙏

[Chi Zhang @ChiZhangData]

Following the recent @binance incident, we have frozen related tokens as a precaution. All Kite-related assets remain unaffected. The action was limited to specific tokens connected to the incident and does not impact user holdings or the broader ecosystem.

We're with our industry partners every step of the way. Safeguarding users and blocking criminals from moving stolen funds is a job for the whole industry. We will provide updates as needed.

Brazil's markets can turn overnight. How much pressure is the Brazilian real under, day to day?

Our new Kite Agent Passport film follows a real run from Oct 27. We asked @bot for a weekday page that tracks it, and it paid @brazilayer and @Agent402Tools for the data from its allowance.

▷ Before spending anything, it priced every source: two Brazilayer feeds at $0.004 and $0.05, agent402's EWZ quote at $0.001, and the central bank's data for free. About $0.055 a run.
▷ It paid from the $100 allowance already set, in USDC on Base. Nothing new to approve.
▷ On the first run, the alert fired: EWZ fell 19.82% on Oct 26, while the USDT premium stayed calm.

Under a dollar to set up, and the page stays quiet unless something moves.

Watch the real with an agent. Keep your nerve. 🪁

[KITE AI @GoKiteAI]

The press gave the new iPhone Duo an 8.8. What do the people who actually bought one say?

Our new Kite Agent Passport film follows a real run from Oct 27. We asked @bot to hear from owners only, and it paid @apify for the data from its allowance.

▷ It bought a $10, spend-capped Apify token and picked the scrapers it needed. No Apify account, no API key, no card.
▷ It scanned 585 posts across Reddit, YouTube, X, forums and eBay, and kept the 27 written by real owners.
▷ The owners tell a different story: cracks near the hinge that reviewers didn't see, about one in five posts on returning it, and an eBay resale premium that fell from +$2,101 to +$851 in four days.

All of it for $2.73 of scraping.

Research with an agent. Keep your money. 🪁
