Last visited back in 2011, promised myself I’d never return . Love motorcycle racing but Silverstone has to be the worst circuit in the Uk for spectating . Those gravel traps are huge.

@stephenpollard Must admit I’ve done a couple of these in the last 20 years , always learnt something new. We were told everyone should participate, which most did. However , one or two of the participants clearly couldn’t speak a word of English. Surely they should never be offered the course

@KieraDiss I saw a Deliveroo push bike in the Blackwall tunnel one Friday evening not long ago. This lucky fella was peddling his heart out to keep in front of his police escort .

@Neevesy33 First visited in Y2K , 5 quid a lap and bikes a plenty,was bloody brilliant . Loved trying to keep up with the fast boys around the twisty sections in the high powered Caterham.
Those days are long gone , not many sports bikes on public days now compared to a few years ago.

@RedWoodyLFC @historyrock_ I was also there . Have a few memories of the day , Weather wasn’t the best , Mccartney probably the stand out for me and I’m not a big fan. And I can’t believe I left as Pink Floyd started, it had been a long but brilliant day . Oh,and many hours to get out of the car park.

@justchristwo Had one when I was 16 . Kept it for a few years even after I had my car licence at 17 to commute across my home town to work . Big bore kit and micron exhaust , It was unreliable and gutless but I loved thrashing around on it .

@TimPollardCars @forduk Maybe it was originally ordered by one of the guys who worked on the production line .I was told by an ex Ford line supervisor from back then that any car for line staff always got the best of everything and went through the paint shop more than once.
