An instalment from the new owners to Prince Abdullah’s team was due at end of June has also been missed. This means about £35m is now claimed to be overdue.

Former owners have now written to both EFL and IFR expressing their concerns over perceived weaknesses in the OADT and whether selling clubs to related parties could have implications for other deals where payments are made on an instalment basis.
