Excited to share our Review in @NatureCellBio with my student @DohunKim96 ! We highlight how nucleotide metabolism is dynamically regulated in physiology and how disruption of this control contributes to human disease. https://t.co/BZAwGnkhl8
An amazing experience, thank you to the organizers, planners, speakers, and all the attendees for such a wonderful 4 days of excellent science!
Personally, this was my first time in Europe and I could not have asked for a better times
The 2026 Prague Metabolism & Signaling Meeting is the in books! Thank you to my co-organizer @katerinarohlena, our excellent meeting planners, supporter, and funders that made it possible and of course to the 180+ attendees and 30+ stellar speakers. Now we can plan for 2028!
We're hiring a postdoc! The Kovalski lab @UNC_Lineberger is looking for a motivated scientist to study post-transcriptional control in cancer. Great fit for someone passionate about #RNAbiology & #CancerBiology 🧪

TAMEST is proud to announce Maralice Conacci-Sorrell, Ph.D., @UTSWMedCenter, as the recipient of the 2026 Mary Beth Maddox Award and Lectureship for her pioneering cancer research. Learn More: https://t.co/sOzFqkeGi6
V happy to share my work in @RJDLab @CRI_UTSW from past 2 yr! In equal collab with Tony Rodrigues, @dwendscheck, Jorge Azevedo’s lab, @warscheidlab, we have discovered PEX39, the first human peroxisomal biogenesis protein (peroxin/PEX) found in > 20 yr! https://t.co/uAhJ7fFeQM🧵
Thrilled to share our new @NatureCellBio paper, led by our amazing student @DohunKim96: Mitochondrial NADPH powers mitochondrial fatty acid synthesis to sustain lipoylation, mitochondrial translation, and oxidative metabolism. https://t.co/E2Lwv6NuVm
We are excited to share our new work out today in @NatureCellBio uncovering a new Achilles heel of pancreatic cancer. Myc is a key driver of PDAC and predicts poor survival. Thus, we asked the question of how Myc protein levels are regulated in PDAC.

Great day for CRI research: @SJMorrison_ received $4.36M to study neural regulation of childhood cancers & @RJDLab received $2.6M for our Metabolomics core toward advanced methodologies in #cancer#metabolism. #relentlessdiscovery@CPRITTexas
Today is an exciting day as we welcome our first-year @UTSWGradSchool PhD students. As you embark on your scientific journey, we extend our best wishes and remind you that we are fully committed to supporting you every step of the way. Congrats and welcome to @UTSWMedCenter.
I am very proud of the superstar postdoc @Yang_Haojun_01, who discovered how to translation control underlying fasting and ketogenic diet in health and cancer.
