To any young kid reading this…

I’ve doubted myself in every league I’ve ever played in.

Ryman Prem.
Conference South.
League Two.
League One.
Championship…

And even right before my first Premier League start last night.

That’s not weakness.
That’s being human.

That’s being alive.

When I was growing up, I thought Premier League players were superhuman.

Like they never felt doubt.
Like they never felt nerves.

The truth is…. it’s often the opposite.

Social media won’t tell you that sometimes you step out there with no confidence. That’s normal. That’s ok!

You now have to then step out there with courage.

Confidence feels good.
Courage doesn’t.

But you do it anyway. Show courage enough times…. You build confidence.

Here’s the mindset that’s carried me for 31 years.

When it goes well:

I worked for it.
I earned it.
Well done.
Watch it back.
Get better.

When it doesn’t:

I know I prepared the best I could.
It didn’t go exactly to plan. That’s football.

But Well done.
Watch it back.
Get better.

That simple recipe gave me a special moment last night.

Leading the team out.
Playing alongside a group that fights for every ball.
Celebrates tackles.
Gives everything for the city of Sunderland.

And sharing it with supporters who never gave up, even after four tough seasons in League One.

So if you’re a young player feeling doubt…
Low confidence…
Or like you don’t believe in yourself…

You’re not alone.

Every player feels it.

Confidence isn’t something you’re given.

It’s something you build.

Bit by bit.
Day by day.
With courage.
With work.
With learning.

Anything worth building takes time.

But that’s what makes it so worthwhile!

Thank you @SunderlandAFC ❤️🤍

New details are emerging about a heated meeting on Saturday afternoon at the Bayerischer Hof hotel in Munich between several senators and members of Congress and Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, along with Greenland’s Premier Jens-Frederik Nielsen.

It was during this meeting that Senator Lindsey Graham reportedly went completely off the rails.

The American outlet Puck had previously described how so-called “f-bombs” (f short for the word “fuck,” ed.) were thrown around the room.

“Imagine Graham on his worst day,” a source told Puck.

But Berlingske can now reveal that events unfolded even more violently than previously reported — and that Graham’s outburst was directed in particular at Mette Frederiksen and Jens-Frederik Nielsen.

“He called her ‘little lady,’” a source who was in the room told Berlingske.

However, the prime minister did not appear affected by what everyone present perceived as extremely degrading and outright sexist.

“She seemed cool,” the source said.

When Graham had finished, Frederiksen simply responded:

“When you’re done with that, the meeting can continue.”

Earlier, Graham had also stressed to Frederiksen and Nielsen that Donald Trump was the President of the United States — and thus the most powerful man in the world.

The implication: neither Denmark nor Greenland should believe they are anything in comparison with the mighty United States.

This “rant,” as a Danish source who was present in the room described it, came across as extremely demeaning toward Denmark and Greenland — particularly after the “little lady” remark directed at Mette Frederiksen.

Graham’s behavior was described by a source as outright “disturbing,” “shocking,” and “extremely inappropriate.”

An almost theatrical scene also unfolded between Graham and Premier Jens-Frederik Nielsen.

“Graham yawned directly in his face in a way that could only be interpreted as mocking,” the source told Berlingske.

It became too much for some of the American participants at the meeting, and Senator Elissa Slotkin (Democrat) was reportedly so shocked that she stood up and left the meeting.

In a sense, the meeting marked the culmination of Graham’s angry outbursts.

Already on Friday, he had stunned observers on live television when asked about Greenland.

“Who the hell cares who owns Greenland?” Graham said, according to CSPAN.

Participants at the meeting described his conduct as “completely out of line.”

According to Berlingske’s information, there was quiet speculation afterward as to whether the senator from South Carolina had lost his composure entirely — whether he was not in his right mind when meeting the Danish and Greenlandic leaders.

Only Graham himself likely knows the answer to that.

Congressman Ro Khanna reveals six men mentioned in the Epstein files:

1⃣ Salvatore Nuara
2⃣ Zurab Mikeladze
3⃣ Leonic Leonov
4⃣ Nicola Caputo
5⃣ Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem
6⃣ Leslie Wexner

"If we found six men in two hours, imagine how many men they are covering up in those 3,000,000 files?"

"The story gets worse"

"Donald Trump's FBI scrubbed these files in March, long before Thomas Massie and I passed the Epstein Transparency Act, which requires them to unredact those FBI files"

"Yet the Justice Department said: we just uploaded what the FBI sent us"

"Guess what, the FBI sent scrubbed files"

"That means the survivors statements to the FBI naming rich and powerful men who went to Epstein's island, who went to his ranch, went to his home, who raped and abused underage girls, or saw underage girls being paraded, they're all hidden"

"It's a farce"

"They inviting members of congress to go and see the files, but the DOJ have redacted files from the FBI"

"It's a blatant violation of the Epstein Transparency Act"

"It also asks a fundamental question, who are they protecting?"

"Why are they protecting these rich and powerful men?"

"Why are we in a country where there is no accountability for people who do the most heinous things?"

"You have in England the King now calling for an investigation and possible prosecution of his own brother"

"Yet in the USA we have someone in the cabinet, Howard Lutnick who is all over the Epstein files who allegedly had business with Epstein after he was convicted of pedophilia and he still is in the cabinet"

"Are we are going to call them to account?"

"Are we going to have prosecutions for billionaires who went to the island who either raped underage girls or saw underage girls being raped and didn't say anything?"

"It's not just about the 1,200 survivors"

"It's about two tiers of justice in America"

"It's time to begin with accountability with the Epstein class"

"Haul them in front of congress"

"Investigate them"

"Prosecute them"

"And lets return to one system of justice in the USA"

An American goes to the ER for high blood pressure, stays under 24 hours, no surgery, no CT, no MRI, and gets a $41,000 bill. Lovely.

Now here’s the part people miss when this gets discussed economically: that $41,000 fully counts toward U.S. GDP.

Not because it’s useful, but because GDP counts priced transactions, not value or outcomes.

And it doesn’t stop there.

The system creates additional GDP layers around the same visit. Hospital administrative labor, insurance claim processing, billing departments, compliance and coding, insurer overhead and profit, financial services handling payments and debt, interest if the patient can’t pay immediately.

So one short ER visit inflates healthcare GDP, inflates services GDP, inflates finance GDP, inflates measured economic activity.

Even though nothing extra was medically produced.

This is why US GDP looks larger than countries with regulated or single payer healthcare. In Europe, the same visit might cost a few hundred euros, involve minimal billing, and generate far less economic activity on paper.

Same patient. Same outcome.
Wildly different GDP contribution.
