@PhillipAdams_1 Very witty 🙂. I'd like to see a bronze sculpture of Bananaby in the prone pose on that night installed in situ for posterity. Canberra is full of uplifting public art. There's room for some contemplative public art that represents the reality of the fall from grace theme.
Remember when Barnaby was described as “Australia’s best retail politician “? I never quite understood what they meant. Now I realise the retailer was Dan Murphy
@PatsKarvelas I think the ACT government, or the people, should commission a bronze of the fallen Barnaby to mark the place and the moment for time immemorial.

@7NewsMelbourne Bite the political bullet and amalgamate your councils like Qld has done. Consolidate all metropolitan councils into one Brisbane City style mega council. Then you'll have media and vote oversight.

It’s astonishing that @AustralianLabor Ministers responsible for social welfare haven’t obtained analysis of the impacts of the #CostOfLivingCrises on the most vulnerable Australians. One might have expected better from a ‘Labor’ Govt. Caucus should ask hard questions. #auspol
As Labor politicians head to Canberra to discuss #CostOfLiving, #FOI reveals that, in the last 12 months, neither Minister Rishworth, Shorten or Collins have received briefings, reports or analyses on the effects of the cost-of-living crisis on welfare recipients. #fail#auspol
@MrRexPatrick The helicopter early axing, overpaying for Blackhawks, reluctance to help in natural disasters, on again off again indecision overpaying for subs... The list goes on. Defence is our worst Department and needs a clean out from the top of the civilian, and officer, bloated ranks.
@PhillipAdams_1 Poor Australia...we missed out badly when they handed out unequivocal "birth of the nation" events. A good civil war or revolution or courageous declaration of independence would have sorted the "date" problem. Those crusty old 19C pollies really stuffed it up constitutionally.
@MrRexPatrick@AlboMP At 65 I fully accept that this country is not a participatory democracy when it comes to Defence & Strategic policy. The USA controls those spheres. And it's getting worse.
