@JosiahHawthorne@DavidAFrench The first Mistborn trilogy is a fun quick read. Warbreaker will make more sense in the context of Stormlight. And I’ve really enjoyed the Stormlight Archive - still need to read #5. Rhythm of War was one of my favorite.

@edstetzer I’m a big fan of the Brooks Ghost Max. Like you, I’ve lost a bunch of weight and have gotten into running. The ghost max is supportive, but also very padded.
If there is a Fleet Feet near you, you might want to go in for a fitting.
A hummingbird typically weighs less than a marshmallow which is so cute we can’t think about anything else.
Please consider this fact and video your timeline cleanse for the day.
@griffingulledge Maybe she’s looking at the clock more often in the later books because of the propensity of her kids to be in danger along with HP in the first few books?
"This season of the Church's calendar is called Advent, which means 'coming'. Christ came, Christ comes, Christ will come again. There is no time - past, present, or future - in which Jesus the Christ (which means Jesus the anointed one) is not God with us. He was with you yesterday, is with you today, and will be with you tomorrow. So we are invited to give up our searching and let ourselves be found by the one who wants to be with us, and to have us with him, forever." (Richard John Neuhaus)

Voting for Trump because you agree with some of his policies, doesn’t make you a racist.
Voting for Vice President Harris because you believe in some of what she stands for, but not all of what she stands for, doesn’t make you a bad person.
Citizens of the kingdom of God ought to be able to vote for Trump or VP Harris, without any thought of voting one over the other is somehow an abandonment of one’s faith, race, or common sense.
Christ is not endorsing either candidate. The choice is yours based on your priorities & preferences in policy positions. Vote your convictions, beliefs, and values without regard to voting either side represents an anti-God vote. That is an unbiblical, manipulative, & unreasonable posture that some advocates on both sides take on the election, take for partisan political advantages.
Believers have to be too wise to fall for this trap and unbiblical dichotomy. I have burdens in my bosom about both parties & candidates. I also find some attractive and compelling reasons that I genuinely believe in that could lead me to vote for either candidate.
I have no problem voting for a Republican or Democrat, male or female, Black or White…..when after studying the candidates I conclude one is better qualified, more competent, better suited, higher integrity or character person….than the other.
And for this voting season, and for me and my house, we’ve determined VP Kamala Harris is the better of the two candidates, by far. But, I choose not to, nor do I deem it appropriate, to condemn believers who choose differently.
What I push back against is the narrative that voting Trump is the only proper choice that a Christian has. That’s a non-starter, full-stop, indefensible, inappropriate, and unbiblical position from my vantage point. And for those who argue the same for Harris, that she’s the only proper choice for a Christian, my message is the same for you.
