@DrMLHarris Quite right too (octopus?) but (even apart from the wrongness of elec market being tied to wholesale gas regardless of actual daily source), I think it sadly doesn't make sense for electric to cost <= gas per kWh delivered due to basic thermodynamics 😭

@DrMLHarris But so long as power is generated from gas, at ~40% efficiency, the electricity can't really be cheaper than gas! All other things being equal and simple of course, which they aren't.
