Mitch McConnell is still on government salary after almost 3 months. Now the GOP Congress are campaigning to allow themselves to cast votes for him.
Where’s Mitch?
Source: CNBC. Although I respect her decision to spend more time with her children, I couldn’t be happier to see the most sycophantic of Trump’s press secretaries leave . She lied repeatedly and was nauseating. Wonder if threats to Trump weighed into this? https://t.co/NHBGe36ycd
This is what Trump and the Republicans "Let the businesses regulate themselves" gets us.
"There's no need for the government to stick its nose into businesses."
Well, this is the result geniuses.😤🔻👇
🚨BREAKING: Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear issued an ultimatum to Senator Mitch McConnell, demanding that the 84-year-old senator either provide direct, verbal proof of his capacity to continue serving or resign from office.
Beshear also sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, urging leadership to investigate McConnell's condition.
General Dynamics received a no bid contract of $530M from the Pentagon and opened a state-of-the-artillery factory near Dallas to make shells for the Ukraine war. Robots regularly caught fire, conveyors broke, autonomous carts got lost, and there was a dumpster fire. It never made a single shell before it was mothballed.

OMFG!
This should be a national scandal.
Multiple sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln have attempted to jump overboard as the aircraft carrier’s deployment in the Middle East stretches months beyond what their families originally expected.
Think about how desperate conditions have to become for American service members, people trained to endure enormous physical and psychological stress, to reach that point.
The roughly 5,000 sailors and Marines aboard the Lincoln have reportedly endured food and water shortages, poor-quality rations, shortages of basic hygiene products, broken toilets, mold and mildew in showers, intermittent hot water, disrupted mail service and brutally long workdays with little meaningful time off.
The ship has spent extraordinary stretches at sea without the regular port calls that normally allow crews to get off the vessel, rest, resupply and simply experience something resembling normal life for a few days.
These men and women volunteered to serve the United States. They understood that military service could mean sacrifice, danger and months away from their families.
They did not volunteer to be treated as disposable.
If conditions aboard one of the most powerful and expensive warships on Earth have deteriorated to the point where sailors are reportedly trying to throw themselves into the ocean, then something has gone catastrophically wrong.
Our service members deserve better than this.
And somebody in leadership needs to answer for how it was ever allowed to get this bad.
🚨Jesse Hockenbury, 32 — Highland Heights, Kentucky city councilmember and former Campbell County Republican Party Treasurer — is now a convicted s*x offender. Colleagues are demanding he resign. He hasn’t.
Hockenbury, a practicing attorney, was arrested in February after a woman he was representing reported unwanted s*xual contact and inappropriate comments. On July 28, he entered an Alford plea to third-degree s*xual abuse — meaning he accepted a guilty conviction while not admitting to the conduct itself.
His sentence: 90 days in jail, fully suspended for two years, plus a no-contact order keeping him 500 feet from the victim, her home, and her workplace, and $165 in court costs.
At Tuesday’s council meeting, members huddled in closed session to discuss removing him. Afterward, councilmember Rene Heinrich didn’t hold back: “I just don’t think that it’s something we can let slide under the carpet.” Fellow councilmember Gary Chinn agreed, saying a person like this shouldn’t represent the city.
Under Kentucky law, council can’t force him out — only a formal misconduct hearing can. For now, Hockenbury’s staying put, unresponsive to press, and apparently unbothered by being a convicted GOP official refusing to give up his seat.
Party of law and order, huh?
Let me get this straight. Trump was so terrified of being assassinated by Iran that he stuffed his fat ass into a catering cart, but when someone supposedly shot right at him in Butler, he fixes his hair and strikes a pose? GTFO
BREAKING: It appears that the White House believed there was a likely threat that Trump’s plane could’ve been shot out of the sky, but allowed the entire White House staff that was with him as well as the media to fly in that plane.
Imagine if Biden had done this.
