to keep it really simple:

the purpose of this work is to help save a life: yours, mine, or someone we love.

i know what it feels like to reach the bottom. to feel insignificant. to believe there is no way forward.

𝙵𝙻𝙾𝚁𝙴𝚂 grew from searching, failing, learning, and healing. And from the ongoing practice of recognizing our worth and learning to love ourselves without conditions.

if 𝙵𝙻𝙾𝚁𝙴𝚂 gives even one person some hope, let it be this:

keep going.

your life has INFINITE value.

things can get better, even when it doesn’t feel possible.

𝙵𝙻𝙾𝚁𝙴𝚂 is a reminder to give yourself flowers, to celebrate the little wins, especially when life feels really hard.

i wish i could say my process of creating this body of work was blissful and romantic. it wasn’t. i had no childcare for most of august, and the kids were still on summer break.

i created this work through tears and anxiety. and awe and happiness.

knowing that if this work can make someone feel the light, then its purpose will be achieved.

there were also a lot of things that serendipitously happened along the way that kept confirming i had to work through whatever it was to get the work completed.

but i felt a lot of guilt for working full-time while my girls were here in the studio with me.

looking back, i wish i hadn’t been so hard on myself. my girls were safe, fed, and happy playing with each other. out of pure necessity, we created an “ipad credit” system for chores completed, and they ended up practicing a ton of piano, math and improving their spanish.

anyways, so much love and respect for all the parents out there, as always. flowers to all of you 🌸☀️

been quiet here on x but i’ve been making art around an article i wrote earlier this summer, about not wanting to be here, about thinking "what's the point?"... i think more and more of us struggle with this, and we rarely find a space to share.

technically, this project has allowed me to push my art waaayyy outside of my knowledge and comfort zone. scary and so very exciting at the same time.

Feeling deeply fortunate and supported. I continue to work every day to improve my skills, grow as a woman of integrity, trust my vision, forgive myself for the mistakes I make daily, be the guide my kids need, and leave a legacy for them and for anyone who experiences my work.

This road less traveled ain’t easy. I’ve lost count of how many ego deaths I’ve been through, lol… and I wouldn’t change a thing.

To this day, it still feels crazy to release my art independently into the world and Web3.
