My cover story on @julienrbaker for @Composer_Mag is live.
This is my favorite piece I’ve ever written, and it came from my favorite interview I’ve EVER conducted.

Question. In ur perfect world , when u go to a show, what time do u want the headliner to go on? What’s too early & what’s too late, in ur opinion?
Hiii PR friends... I know we're all in the chaos of gift guide season, but please do not send follow-ups 1 day after your initial pitch. (This has happened to me twice today!) It only makes our inboxes even more disastrous. Give it at last a week. Thanks!
Besides, everyone knows Liam and Noel won’t make it through.
They picked the fucking Rose Bowl to play in LA. That’s their booker knowing they won’t make it to those dates.
It was probably a cheaper deposit so they were like “might as well save some money.”
Everyone is hoping they’re at the gig where they get in a fist fight on stage and they cancel the tour.
When I saw Florence in London in 2022 she broke her foot on stage, still finished the gig, then when I was in line at fabric for afters she posted the EU tour was cancelled.
And what was crazy is I almost bought a ticket for the next night if I had, I would have missed her.
Obviously this is tragic example whereas the scenario I presented for Oasis was contentious. But to be at any gig where an unexpected circumstance makes it the last one is epic.
