@mybmcWardRS @MTPHereToHelp Absolutely no action has been taken. Sunday today and footpaths are occupied, cars parked on both sides of road. This has become big nuisance for residents. @AshwiniBhide @PrajaktaVerma Do visit regularly to see sad state of affairs in RS ward.

You recently connected 2 main roads M.G.rd and Boraspada rd via M.G. cross rd num 4, so traffic has increased a lot, @mybmcWardRS you need to clear footpaths on both sides, @MTPHereToHelp you need to clear parked vehicles on both sides. This is urgent and hazard for pedestrians!

@MTPHereToHelp Intersection in Kandivali west shown below has become impossible to walk. Footpaths are taken over by food vendors. But main problem is people parking their cars on the road and eating inside. Can you start issuing challans after 6pm everyday and weekends?

There is a fix to end this menace!

1) Frisk everyone entering the beach. No eatables allowed. Only drinking water in reusable bottles to be allowed. Just like multiplexes.

2) Stalls selling food and packaged drinks should be responsible for cleaning the mess left by their customers.

3) Install multiple dustbins across the beach, huge ones. Ensure that they are periodically cleared to prevent it from overflowing.

4) If this doesn't help, put an entry ticket of ₹50 per adult and ₹25 per kid. I know this is harsh, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

In an ideal world access to public spaces should be free, but we don't have an ideal population either which has civic sense.

Board obstructing pedestrian movement is removed. It should not have happened. However original proper board was shifted & wrongly placed during reconstruction of footpath. All ward level teams hv been strictly advised to be sensitive to public convenience & follow SOP.
