Change your perception on failure.
Become unstoppable.
If your actions are being driven by somebody else’s perspective about you, you’re a slave.
There’s more people living in mental prisons outside of actual prisons than within them.
Grow an awareness of your intentions.
Who is controlling your actions?
People pleasing is a survival instinct.
We've been conditioned to belong for survival.
Here's a mini guide to not over extend yourself.
From a recovering people pleaser.
1. Practice Saying “No”
Learning to say no is crucial. When someone asks for your help or makes a request, pause and assess the situation. It’s okay to decline if it doesn’t align with your priorities or well-being.
2. Set Healthy Boundaries
Define what you’re comfortable with and communicate those boundaries to others. Prioritize your own needs without feeling guilty.
3. Consider Your Priorities
Reflect on what truly matters to you. Prioritize activities and commitments that align with your values and goals.
4. Learn Assertive Communication
Express your thoughts and feelings assertively. Practice saying what you mean without being overly apologetic or defensive.
5. Delay Your Response
When faced with a request, give yourself time to think. Avoid immediate agreement and consider whether it’s in your best interest.
6. Allocate Time For Yourself
Schedule self-care and personal time. Remember that taking care of yourself is essential for helping others effectively.
7. Don’t Make Excuses
You don’t need to justify your decisions excessively. A simple “no” or “I can’t” is sufficient.
8. Set Realistic Expectations
Understand that you can’t please everyone all the time. Focus on doing your best rather than seeking constant approval.

Your time and energy are limited.
Become intentional about your priorities.
If you do not know what you want, others will persistently demand from you.
Happiness won't be found in trading your money for things. Guaranteed.
Materialistic chase is a never ending death spiral that will leave you deeply empty.
To create happiness day in day out, focus on:
- Engaging in meaningful work
- People that spark your inner child
- Taking care of your body, mind, soul
- Experiences that make you feel alive
- Hobbies that make you lose track of time
A weekend reminder to focus on areas of life that bring you meaning day in day out.
