I have a doubt.
I have a volkswagen polo with active extended warranty. Now there i saw an o2 sensor issue and they stated that there is a "hole" in the sensor and that's why it won't be covered under warranty so i need to pay ~25k. Issue is:

@volkswagenindia @VW @volklub What's the benefit of getting an extended warranty when it doesn't even work and solely relies on the mercy of the the service center you visit. Extremely unsatisfied. Also the timelines match with e20 rollout so that can be a probable reason.

Techs just open the TV, rub internal connectors with an eraser/rubber, and call it a day—only for it to break again immediately. This temporary Band-Aid fix isn't working. I need a proper hardware replacement unit!

Frustrated with my Sony 55X82L (Bought Sept 26, 2024 | Still Under 3Y Warranty).
Started with major power, green screen, and black screen issues. Now, I'm stuck in a loop of recurring Bluetooth/Wi-Fi failures (happened 4-5 times).

My doubt is can a small sensor cause a short circuit in entire ecm?
Why its not covered under warranty?
Also they are saying that it "can" happen or might have "already happened" that my ecm is short circuited right now due to sensor
