Kadri anavyokua, ego inakomaa, anaanza kujielewa, ego inakuwa yule “yeye” anayefikiri, anayehisi, anayeamini, anayemiliki, anayechagua na kusimamia alichochagua.
Ego ni utambulisho wako —identity. Huwezi kuwa na uhuru wa kufikiri bila ego. Huwezi kupenda na kupokea upendo bila ego. Huwezi kujisikia mtu wa maana bila ego. Huwezi kutofautiana na mtu maoni (kwa staha) bila ego. Huwezi kufedheheka bila ego. Huwezi kujisikia fahari bila ego. Huwezi kusimamia mitazamo yako bila ego. Ego ni sehemu muhimu ya nafsi ijayojenga utambulisho wako ambao ukiukosa unaweza kuamini chochote, ukamfuata yeyote, ukabadili chochote maana huna kitu unachoweza kukiita ‘wewe.’
