Surely this is Harry Kane's year?
England into the World Cup semi-finals. Completing the double with Bayern. Scoring 61 goals in 51 games in 25/26 season.
No player in Europe has been a bigger threat in front of goal this season. In the Bundesliga alone, Harry Kane scored 36 goals, the only player to come close to this number in Europe's top five league's was Erling Haaland with 27.
In the Champions League, no player recorded more goals + assists than the England forward (16).
Kane has carried this momentum into the World Cup, helping England finish top of their group and leading them to a semi-final showdown with defending champions Argentina.
He's England's top scorer with six goals in six games. Out of the teams remaining, only Rodri has covered more distance than Kane, recording 67,846m so far.
With all this considered, the Ballon d'Or is rightfully Harry Kane's this year.
@InvertTheWing If you’d been watching him recently you’d realise his passion and desire to still want to win was 2nd to none, showing up his more senior team mates even when playing out of position. Diamond in the rough and future captain if he wants it
Spurs aren't getting relegated.
Yesterday was horrible, yes. Bloody horrible.
I get the negativity right now, I really do. But today's been poisonous and sue me! I'm sticking some blind positivity on here.
We will get the results.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
@DavidLammy So a slap on the wrist then allowed to do it again and maybe murder someone next time. Should be mandatory 10 years for carrying a knife, that is more of a deterrent than anything you’re proposing. We hear of stabbings every day and you want to excuse those 17 and under #Clueless
