@Politics_co_uk@GavinWilliamson How much do you get paid for lobbying? You make the case for independence from a Western interest perspective. I appreciate that you are a greenhorn lobbyist, but note that international recognition won't change anything. Every clan has its land in the so-called Somaliland.
@EIshmael_ Meanwhile, flight restrictions in Jubaland causing unavoidable deaths - more blood on @HassanSMohamud
Dam Jadid, an extension of AS and terrorism is running the show.
@jihansomali Like many Somali politicians, Hassan ditched his Sufi upbringing and joined the Wahabis many moons ago. He is in bed with AS. People need to wake up. No vermin kills his own.
@maxaaamed @RAbdiAnalyst We can beat AS if we ditch the Arab dates and the Keffiyehs and return to Sufism, our way of life. I don't like the so-called analysts either.
@RAbdiAnalyst I think you are missing the point. The ideologies that underpin AS reside in most Somali households and across the political spectrum. We need a clean-up of an epic proportion and a spiritual return to Sufism, our original tenet.
π¨ Tragic loss of lives in Gedo, Jubaland due to the suspension of flights by the federal government & SCAA. The East African Court in Tanzania has now opened a case against the Somali federal government for human rights violations. Accountability must prevail. #Somalia#HumanRig
@C3lestial1 @Deee_luul Thank you. Most of my followers are non-Somalis - students and academics. A thread may not reach greater audience. I have another critical piece on the dangerous ideologies that underpin Dacish and AS. I would be grateful for your advice on how to share this with Somali readers.
This excellent book is out next week. The book explores adverse childhood experiences, trauma, depression, and the potential for a humanistic approach to recovery and growth
@M_Farmaajo Well put president Faramaajo. It is clear that @HassanSMohamud flip-flop domestic policy is taking us back to the 90s. We are caught in between regional cowboys and unruly Villa - marching fast into the abyss. There must be a better way. A way out of this daunting times.
@AAbdishakur@HassanSMohamud With all due respect, the last time I checked, you were in cahoots with @HassanSMohamud As far as I can recall, you haven't explained to the Somali people what has changed. You are making too much noise because @HassanSMohamud left you high and dry. That is all it is.
A3 Many moons ago, one of my colleagues suggested arranging desks and chairs randomly to 'disrupt' what he called a 'traditional' classroom setting. I was shocked that despite initial expressions of bewildment by students, overall, they found the experience 'refreshing' I wouldn't try it again though...
