خیبرپختونواہ میں آج کل دو قانون رائج ہیں۔ اگر وزیراعلیٰ اپنے حواریوں کے ساتھ گرڈ سٹیشن پر حملہ آور ہوتا ہے تو پولیس خاموش رہتی ہے اور کوئی ایف آئی آر درج نہیں ہوتی لیکن اگر عام لوگ لوڈشیڈنگ کے خلاف پرامن مظاہرہ کریں تو انتظامیہ آنسو گیس، ایف آئی آر اور گرفتاریوں کے ساتھ حرکت میں آتی ہے۔

1926 میں حج کرنے کے بعد فلسطین گیا. وہاں کے عرب مسلمانوں کے حالات دیکھ کر مجھے پتہ چلا کہ پشتونوں کی طرح عربوں کو بھی مولویوں نے امام مہدی کے انتظار میں بٹھایا ھے کہ وہ آئیگا اور سب کچھ ٹھیک کرکے دیگا. بیت المقدس ( یروشلم ) میں میں گھومتا تھا معلومات لیتا اور ہوٹلوں میں عربوں کیساتھ فلسطین اور عربوں کی مستقبل پر بحث کرتا تھا . ایک دن چند فلسطینیوں سے بحث ہورہی تھی. میں نے کہا دیکھو یہ آپ لوگ بڑی غلطی کر رھے ھیں کہ یہودیوں پر اپنی زمینیں فروخت کرتے ھیں اور یہودی اس زمین کو اباد کرلیتے ھیں یہ کام آپ لوگ خود کیوں نہیں کرتے . میں نے یہاں جو زمین اباد دیکھی ھے جہاں بنگلہ باغیچہ اور پانی کا انتظام ہو وہ زمین یہودی کی ہوتی ھے . اور جو زمین بنجر ہوتی ھیں وہ مسلمان کی ہوتی ھیں . یہودیوں نے فلسطین میں چھوٹے چھوٹے خوبصورت گاؤں بسائے اور بسا رھے ھیں اور آپ غفلت کی نیند سو رھے ھیں اُن میں سے ایک فلسطینی عرب نے کہا کہ یہ چودویں صدی آخری صدی ھے ہم اپنی زمینیں یہودیوں کو اسلئے فروخت کررھے ھیں کہ اسکے بعد تو امام مہدی آئیگا اور یہ ساری زمینیں دوبارہ مسلمانوں کی ہوجائیگی . تب مجھے اندازہ ہوا کہ مولوی نے پشتونوں کی طرح عربوں کو بھی امام مہدی کے انتظار میں بٹھایا ھے
اب کبھی کبھی خیال اتا ھے کہ فلسطین چلا جاؤ اور اُن عربوں سے پوچھوں کہ وہ چودھویں صدی تو ختم ہوگئی وہ زمینیں کس کی ہوئی یہودیوں کی یا پھر مسلمانوں کی ؟
جو قوم اپنی مفادات اور سرزمین کی حفاظت نہیں کرتی وہاں ظلم کی حکومت قائم ہوجاتی ھے.
